How F212 Works
Overview
F212 is a free-to-play fantasy football game built around the Botola Pro Inwi league. You build a 15-player squad of real Botola Pro players, pick a starting XI each gameweek, and earn points based on how those players actually perform on the pitch. Compete on the national leaderboard or create a private mini-league with friends.
Squad Setup
Every squad has 15 players, a fixed budget, and position and club limits — the same shape used by every major fantasy football game.
| Position | Min | Max |
|---|---|---|
| Goalkeeper | 2 | 2 |
| Defender | 3 | 5 |
| Midfielder | 2 | 5 |
| Forward | 1 | 3 |
Your starting XI must use one of five formations: 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 3-5-2, 4-5-1, or 3-4-3. The 4 players not in your starting XI sit on the bench and only score points if a starter doesn't play — or if you activate the Bench Boost chip.
When you first build your squad, F212 automatically fills your starting XI with your highest-form players for the formation you've picked. You're always free to swap any player between your starting XI and bench yourself — just make your changes before the gameweek deadline.
Player Prices
Where available, a player's starting price is based on their real market value, so prices reflect actual footballing value rather than an arbitrary number. For players with no confirmed market value on record, a standard starting price applies until more data becomes available.
Prices can move up or down during the season based on how many managers are buying or selling a player — a heavily-transferred-in player gets more expensive, a heavily-transferred-out player gets cheaper. Your squad's total value moves with these changes, but you're never forced to sell.
Note: displayed prices are value estimates for gameplay purposes, not official club valuations or real transfer fees. See Data & Accuracy below.
Scoring
Every player on your pitch earns points from their real match performance. Points differ by position — a goal is worth more for a defender than a forward, since it's rarer.
| Action | GK | DEF | MID | FWD |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Played under 60 minutes | +1 | |||
| Played 60+ minutes | +2 | |||
| Goal scored | +6 | +6 | +5 | +4 |
| Assist | +3 | |||
| Clean sheet (60+ min played) | +4 | +4 | +1 | 0 |
| Every 3 saves (goalkeeper) | +1 | |||
| Yellow card | −1 | |||
| Red card | −3 | |||
| Own goal | −2 | |||
| Missed penalty | −2 | |||
| Bonus points (best performers) | 0 to +3 | |||
A handful of advanced stats used by some fantasy games — defensive actions like tackles and clearances, for example — aren't currently scored in F212. See Data & Accuracy for why.
Ownership & Momentum
On top of match performance, three rules reward reading the transfer market well and discourage everyone converging on the same "safe" picks. A player moves through one arc over the season: undervalued, then rewarded for being found early, then — once everyone's caught on — taxed for being the template pick.
| Rule | Points |
|---|---|
| Rising Pick — top 3 net transfers-in this gameweek, while under 60% owned | +3 |
| Cold Pick — bottom 3 net transfers this gameweek (exempt in a player's first eligible gameweek) | −1 |
| Overowned — 80%+ of all squads own this player, every gameweek it holds | −1 |
These follow the same captain multiplier as everything else in the scoring table above — captaining an overowned or cold pick doubles the penalty too.
Note: a player can never be both Rising and Overowned in the same gameweek — the 60% bonus ceiling and the 80% penalty floor never overlap, with a neutral 60–79% band in between where neither applies.
Captain & Vice-Captain
Before each gameweek's deadline, pick a Captain and a Vice-Captain from your starting XI. Your Captain scores double points that gameweek. If your Captain doesn't play, the Vice-Captain's points are doubled instead.
Transfers
You get 1 free transfer every gameweek. Making an additional transfer in the same gameweek costs −4 points, deducted from your total. There's no limit to how many transfers you can make — just a points cost beyond your free one.
Transfers are open continuously and lock right at each gameweek's deadline — kickoff of that round's first fixture. The moment one gameweek locks, transfers reopen immediately for the next one, so there's never a multi-day gap where the market is closed. The same deadline also locks your lineup, captain, and vice-captain picks for that gameweek.
Chips
Four one-time chips let you break the normal rules at a moment of your choosing during the season. Each can only be used once.
Wildcard
Unlimited free transfers for one gameweek, with no points penalty — rebuild your whole squad.
Free Hit
Unlimited transfers for a single gameweek only — your squad automatically reverts back afterward.
Bench Boost
Your 4 bench players' points count toward your total for that gameweek too.
Triple Captain
Your Captain's points are tripled instead of doubled for that gameweek.
Leagues & Ranking
Every squad is automatically ranked on the overall national leaderboard by total points. You can also create or join private mini-leagues with a join code to compete with friends specifically — your squad, points, and transfers are shared across every league you're in.
Data & Accuracy
F212 is an independent, unofficial fantasy game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Fédération Royale Marocaine de Football (FRMF), the Botola Pro, or any club. Club crests and player names are used for identification only.
Fixtures, results, and player statistics are sourced from third-party data providers. This data can occasionally be delayed, incomplete, or corrected after publication — including cases where a player has genuinely transferred clubs before our records catch up.
Player prices reflect market-value estimates for gameplay purposes and are not official transfer fees or club valuations.
Points are calculated strictly from the match data our providers make available. Some detailed statistics tracked by other fantasy games elsewhere are not currently published for the Botola Pro league, and are therefore not part of F212's scoring.
Rules, scoring values, and prices may be adjusted between seasons, or occasionally mid-season to correct an error, with notice given to users where reasonably possible.
